Overclocking and Stability

Perfunctory inspection of power unit has shown that there are 6 condensers of 2200uF each and 3 condensers of 3300uF each.

I do not have any complaints on board's stability. Also there are no complaints on compatibility with a quite weak power supply (excellent work with 230W power) and DDR400 memory (Samsung PC3200).
Concerning overclocking, the board has shown great overclocking results (with 250W PowerMan power supply),

Absolutely stable work at 170Mhz makes our board one of the best boards in its class.

Overclocking capabilities really impress.

Firstly, this is multiplier variation. This parameter varies in the range from 5.5 up to 14 with 0.5 step increment.

Then we have a possibility to set FSB clock from 100 up to 233MHz with 1MHz step increment.

Now let's look at possibility of increasing CPU voltage. The maximal value of Vcore is 1.85V.
Hmm, this is not much for serious overclocking but enough for beginners.

The next point by importance is the possibility to increase memory voltage (Vmem).

The range of Vmem variation is from standard 2.5V up to 2.8V with 0.1V step increment.

There is no possibility to increase AGP voltage (Vagp) or input/output voltage (Vio).

While finishing discussing overclocking functions I must note WatchDog Timer function, which resets system setting to safe values in case of unsuccessful overclocking. This means that there is no necessity to open a case and to reset BIOS with jumper. Actually many boards has such function but this is a institution of a board for overclocking. However in some cases this function fails. First of all this can happen at memory overclocking (high frequency, aggressive timings). In this case the only way to start a computer is to reset CMOS settings.
