Conclusions
The main conclusion is the following. A computer engineer would have to
spend more time to assemble a computer, based on the reviewed motherboard.
However, an end-user will get a fast and reliable system. Overclocking
possibilities are very good, that is why people who like overclocking will
be satisfied for sure.
Now I will honestly tell about some disadvantages. The first one is price.
If you plan to purchase ASUS A7V266-E, you should know that it would be
$40-50 more expensive than similar motherboards. Though prices of Asus
motherboards usually drop quite slowly (e.g. an old Asus P3B-F based on
obsolete Intel BX chipset costs more than similar motherboards) and
production of this manufacturer is always demanded. That is why it should
be fewer problems with Asus during future upgrade.
This product was
purchased in retail sail. That is why this review is
maximally objective. Besides, I am absolutely independent
on anyone in making my conclusions.
